Introduction

Thank you so much for your interest in the 2nd annual Team Up for The Children’s Room soccor tournament!  Last year was a huge success raising over $6,000.00 that went directly to the families who benefit from the services of The Children's Room (TCR).  TCR is the largest, independent nonprofit organization in Massachusetts that is solely dedicated to supporting grieving children, teens, and families.

Families from all over Massachusetts, who have suffered the devastating loss of a parent or child, come to TCR to attend peer support groups.  Working with professionals, trained volunteers, and most importantly – each other, families begin to process their loss in an empathic and supportive environment.  Families typically stay in the program from one to three years.  It is estimated to cost $1,500 a year for a child or teen to enroll in the program.

The Children’s Room welcomes all families, regardless of their ability to pay. Many families face financial uncertainty and hardship after the death of a family member. TCR relies primarily on individual contributions for funding.  We hope you will join us in this fabulous event to help TCR maintain the critical services they provide.
